The competition to get into international schools is very fierce, leading some parents to consider purchasing school debentures to give their children assessment opportunities and/or priority admission to schools. 

The policies for purchase, sale and priority granted by a debenture vary from school to school. We strongly recommend parents first understand the potential benefits of a debenture in relation to their child(ren)’s applications before purchasing. A debenture does not guarantee acceptance into the school; the child must meet the school’s admission requirements, and it also depends on the availability of places at the school.

We understand the range of debentures available from each school and after meeting parents and conducting relevant assessments are able to give personalised advice to parents. 

School debentures that can be traded in the secondary market:

Victoria Shanghai Academy: the school has issued individual debentures and corporate debentures of different face values. An Individual debenture allows nomination for one child applying for admission to Year 1.

A corporate debenture allows nomination for one child in relation to any year level placement.

The ISF Academy: the school has issued debentures of different face values in recent years. Debentures can be purchased in the name of an individual or a company. Each debenture allows the nomination of one child.

Harrow International School: the school has issued debentures of different face values. Debentures can be purchased in the name of an individual or company. Each debenture allows the nomination of one child.

Chinese International School: the school began redeeming existing debentures since 2012. The number of debentures circulating in the secondary market is very small and often they are only available for rent. Debentures must be purchased in the name of a company.

在二手市場能做交易的學校債券：

滬江維多利亞學校：學校發行了不同面值的個人債券和公司債券。個人債券持有人只能提名申請入讀一年級的學生。

弘立書院：學校在過去多年分別發行了不同面值的債券。債券可以以個人或公司名義去購買。

哈羅國際學校：學校發行的兩種面值的債券。債券可以以個人或公司名義去購買

漢基國際學校：學校在2012年開始贖回已持有的公司提名權。在二手市場上流通的債券數量非常少。債券須以公司名義去購買
